Definition of student family insurance
Student family insurance (Familienversicherung) is the free co-insurance of spouses, registered partners and children of statutory insured members. For students, the child rule up to age 25 during training or studies is the key point. Family insurance takes precedence over the KVdS where its conditions are met.
